Helicopter Service
Occasionally, a helicopter provides a more versatile photo platform than a fixed-wing aircraft. Sites located in close proximity to the major New York City airports, for example, are best accessed with a helicopter. For these occasions, HVAP utilizes the services of Independent Helicopters, operating out of Stewart Field in Newburgh, NY.
Survey
Although HVAP does not provide true vertical photos that meet surveying accuracy standards, we have been retained by many surveyors and engineers to take near vertical shots that can be used as either a precursor to a survey flight, or to document property line transgressions and the like. HVAP photos taken in this way can easily be brought into AutoCADD and geo-referenced to provide additional information on a project.
Residential
HVAP uses oblique photos for both residential developments and individual homes.
Greenspace
HVAP has worked with many environmental interest groups to highlight the natural beauty of various landscapes. Scheduling the flight in the late afternoon allows these ski slopes to be highlighted by the soft sunlight.
Air to air
Air-to-air, (or air-to-water) photos are a great way to capture the beauty of your aircraft or boat in an action setting. HVAP is experienced in selecting the right backdrop for these photos, depending on the wishes of the owner.
